I have no idea why...but this is hilarious!

Metallica's 3D film, Through the Never, is going to be released to IMAX theatres starting September 27th. SO you get the 3D experience in all of that amazing IMAX glory. I don't have word yet...but I'd guess Providence Place might be showing the film.
Here is the story on Yahoo from the AP.
Very interesting article on Yahoo today about these "17 year cicadas" emerging in the North East. Sounds like a little bit of hell. Read the whole story here.

2. (This one makes me want to punch someone) Pink Floyd & the Bee Gees

Physical wounds aren't the only ones people must heal from. Meantal wounds are all too real. Speaking to friends who were at the Boston Marathon, I can only encourage them to go and talk to someone. Living with a family member who suffers from PTSD makes you realize all too well how difficult ignoring this can be.
If you, or someone you know was at the Marathon on Monday, please go and talk to a mental health professional. Nothing bad can come of it. For more info on PTSD, please refer to the National Center for PTSD. Here is a link.
A quote from Patton Oswalt: "We would not be here if humanity were inherently evil. We'd have eaten ourselves alive long ago. So when you spot violence, or bigotry, or intolerance or fear or just garden-variety misogyny, hatred or ignorance, just look it in the eye and think, "The good outnumber you, and we always will."
I don't watch American Idol. I caught this video as a hand-me-down of sorts. This woman gave me goosebumps. Rock or not, this is what MUSIC is all about!
