94HJY CommunitiesTM
O1 national

94HJY is committed to being a strong community partner.  Through Clear Channel Communities™, the community engagement brand of Clear Channel, 94HJY spotlights thousands of local and national non-profit organizations that are working to address critical issues and causes, primarily in four core areas:

The mission of 94HJY Communities™ is to galvanize radio to educate and inspire local residents to make a difference within their own communities.  94HJY supports many large and small groups by: providing media inventory in the form of radio and digital PSAs; championing the missions of various non-profit groups; supporting local events like walk-a-thons, fundraising events, and supply drives; taking action in communities facing disasters; advocating for various national and local issues; engaging local officials and decision makers through Local Advisory Boards; and taking on countless initiatives throughout the year that affect cities across the country.

94HJY Communities™ also aims to roll up the company’s local efforts into national campaigns on occasions where scale can help create additional impact.

We believe that raising our voices locally will make for a better tomorrow.

On Air Cares
  • Paul Fuller

For 20 years Paul and Al have been partners with the Amos House.  We've worked closely with dozens of other charities both on and off the air but the Amos House is our special partner.  They've grown from a soup kitchen to a night-to-night shelter then transitioned to a center for intensive three to six months recovery programs.

They expanded their permanent supportive housing to 12 buildings and a Mother-Child Reunification Program. They've launched training programs in culinary, carpentry and construction. They run businesses now that help fund recovery for incoming addicts and the homeless.  They still keep their roots and serve hundreds of meals to the most desperate in our city every day but have truly expanded to a center that has reclaimed hundreds of lives.

I've worked in the kitchens there and have organized several events (like our annual Big Woody Golf Tournament) and we've done on-air marathons to promote and raise funds for one of the greatest non-profits I've ever worked with!
